Anything can happen on the road and this helps a lot to Emergency Services to recognise you and help quicker.
For instance, I also added blood type to mine.

The build quality is good. I wear my cycling really tight and despite that never bothers me.

I think either you commute in a city or go for an adventure everyone should have one IMHO.
